Line Optic 96 Skis 2027

The Line Optic 96 is one of the most fun and capable all-mountain skis I’ve tested this season. With a 96mm waist, it strikes that sweet spot — wide enough to float through a few inches of fresh and smear turns in soft snow, yet narrow and quick enough to carve groomers and charge through chop with confidence. What stands out is the construction. It uses a lightweight Aspen veneer core paired with Gas Pedal Metal Overdrive — a Titanal spine that runs tip-to-tail for powerful edge grip and stability, while keeping the tips and tails lively. The 5Cut Multi-Radius sidecut makes it incredibly versatile, letting you snap short playful turns or lay down big GS arcs. 

Our testers loved how playful yet planted it feels. It’s energetic without being nervous, damped without being dead. Whether you’re ripping corduroy in the morning, finding stashes in the woods, or slashing through afternoon slush, the Optic 96 just makes you want to keep skiing.
