Description

Alpine touring built; resort ready. The Volkl blaze 94 is a confident, agile, incredibly lightweight all-mountain ski. Crafted to bridge the gap between heavy freeride skis lackluster touring skis, the blaze 94 has nailed quite the blend of factors. Its featherweight won't tire you out whether you're taking your second skin track lap, or 20th resort lap. Its combination of fiberglass and titanal construction grips and carves as a proper Volkl should. Finally, the 94mm waist width is easy to turn on groomed trails, and snappy edge to edge when things ice up. Volkl's packed every bit of their signature carving ability into one of the lightest skis out there.

Details

3D Radius Sidecut: Provides an off-piste feel for intuitive skiers who favor short radius turns. The 3D radius sidecut significantly enhances the ski's liveliness and maneuverability.

Hybrid Multilayer Wood Core: Bled of Poplar, Beech, and Paulownia woods to maximize rigidity while keeping weight to a minimum.

Titanal Power Plate: The Titanal binding platform that is just 0.3 mm thick provides direct power transfer and a fast pressure built-up from one edge to another.

Suspension Tips & Tails: This elastic rubbery material on the edges of the tip and the tail acts as a bumper every time the ski comes in contact with the snow in wind-blown or tracked out conditions. The shock-absorbing elasticity ensures not only the resistance but also provides great lift off-piste.
