The Atomic Redster X9i Wide Body Revo Shock Ski was most exciting ski I tested last year. A little wider at 75 mm under foot for versatility yet it springs from turn to turn with awesome edge grip. I made me a better skier on steep hard snow. No need to back off.  I skied the 176
