Atomic Backland 100 Skis 2022
The Atomic Backland 100 is a true alpine touring machine. Construction so light it will keep you fresh no matter how man tens of thousands of vertical feet you've put behind you, yet powerful enough to make the very best of that sweet, sweet descent. The 100mm width strikes an outstanding balance, remaining nimble and agile while floating remarkably well thanks to its 3D shaped tip. And when the snowfield freezes over the backland doesn't shy away thanks to its full sidewall and carbon backbone. No Tour is too long and no decent is too treacherous for the backland, the backcountry is yours to take.
Ultra Light Core: Combination Caruba and poplar wood core keeps weight to a minimum while keeping that downhill edge.
Dura Cap Sidewall: Full sidewall adds precise edging stability and meets with a rounded off topsheet to prevent chipping and delamination
Carbon Backbone: Inlay of Carbon stretching the length of the ski add virtually no weight yet creates dampness and edge hold.
HRZN Tech Tip: 3D shape in the tip provides 10% extra surface area to maximize floatation in fresh powder
