Description

The Armada Locator 96 is a more than a ski light enough to tour in. It's a ski designed for backcountry skiing in the little and big ways that matter. Even better at ascending than it's feathery 1350 grams suggests thanks to a secure dedicated tail clip construction and plenty of camber to give your climbing skins their most grip. When the tips point down, however, a precise combination of carbon fiber, metal, and rubber laminates imbues confident descending though rough terrain in this nimble alpine touring machine.

Caruba Core: Ultra light weight full wood core. Caruba wood both keeps weight down and energy high.

AR75 Sidewall: Full sidewall construction for precise, powerful edge hold that thins out towards the tip to keep swing weight down. 

Adaptive Mesh: Laminate of woven fiberglass with varied orientation throughout the ski reduces vibration and chatter while adding nearly no weight.
