Description

The Volkl M6 Mantra is a new ski to master everything from powder to ice. New innovations in the 6th generation Mantra start with the 3D sidecut. 3D Radius design means that the skis feature a blend of three different sidecut radii, with a long radius around the tip/shovel, a shorter radius around the middle of the ski, and a long radius around the tail. The end goal of this is the ability to make a wider variety of turn shapes, without losing the precision and engagement needed for tighter turns on piste, or the ability to smear  / feather turns off-piste. Also, the Mantra  M6 has a new way of arranging the Titanal Frame metal sections that follow the ski shape in the tip and tail, with a new carbon strand inlay in the tip. This intricate construction is lighter in weight, with the same damping properties as a full sheet of metal. This new M6 Mantra sets a new performance standard for all-mountain, freeride skis.

Best For

The new M6 Mantra Skis are more versatile than the older Mantra's yet; have very strong edge grip and  make great carved turns. Great for skiers that spend lots of time on hard snow and ski in all conditions and all snows. Very forgiving in half skied out snow.
